I always scan the free ads of the local paper to see if I can snag a cheap used sewing machine or some new-old furniture. today I saw this, and it damn near broke my heart:

i love getting haircuts

Kelly Clarkson is my “hair idol.” We have pretty similar hair: thick, a bit wavy, a touch coarse but able to be finessed into pretty smoothness. I’m always keeping an eye on her latest haircut and picturing it atop my head. I’m finally ready to take the plunge.
